RAM with different frequency

Hi,

I have a H97-pro mobo which supports 1600MHz ram and i already have a 1866MHz hyperX fury ram installed in my machine

I want to add more ram,So which one i should buy, the same one or i can use a 1600MHz ram from the same or any other brand...

pls help me.

It's best to buy identical modules , to ensure compatibility.

What is the Fury running at? Is it at 1866?

Thanks, i was thinking to add a 1600MHz hyperx ram cause my board supports only 1600Mhz.
what u will suggest.

If going to mix, I'd try another stick of the same Fury, since they are based on PnP they can be difficult to get to work alongside regular XMP based stick like the far bulk of all 1600 and above sticks
