I have just gotten this message after 5+ months of playing on my PC in which I built myself. I am looking for some help to solve and fix this problem. I have a broken USB port on the front of the case. It's been broken for a while and I haven't been able to figure out why it's broken in order to fix it. If you could help me get this fixed that would be amazing!

Could be a shortcircuit in the broken USB port. Disconnect the front USB port cable from the USB header on the motherboard.

Contact the case manufacturer to determine if they can provide a replacement front panel circuit board.

The panel is likely fine and someone just pulled a jumper off the board for either ports 1-5 or 5-10

I disconnected the cable and it lets me use my computer fine now. It's just that now I cannot use my U.S.B. 3.0 ports anymore or my headphone and microphone jack and I really really need them.

If you have the soldering skills and you can get a replacement USB port that matches the existing one you could probably fix it yourself.
