Does it seem like computer hardware sales are really high this year to anyone else? I've noticed a lot of prices have crept up a little bit, and more popular hardware has been selling out. What does everyone else think? I've been following computer hardware for over 10 years now, and it does seem like somewhat of an upwards swing to me.
EDIT: I am in Canada and have just been watching NCIX, Newegg.ca, and Canada computers mostly. I've noticed that the prices in Socket 1150 motherboards, certain models of Nvidia cards(eg GTX770), and Intel i5 and i7 K edition chips have seemed to increase, but AMD FX chips, and motherboards have declined, and so have AMD Video cards. I guess it's just the way the market works, but seeing a GTX 770 priced at mid 300's and a r9 290x at below 300 seems really odd to me. Most GTX 970's are over $400 as well.
Some websites are now charging almost $300 in Canada for the i5 4690k, and over $400 for the i7 4790k. That's not even including shipping or tax either. Motherboards that were sub $150 are close to $200 now as well.
