i lose my internet connection on my HP laptop. it is running a qualcomm atheros ar9485 802.1 b/g/n wi fi card. i do have interference going on but i have 3 other wireless devices that never lose connection. 2 are laptops and one is a kindle fire. the interference is signal senders, cordless phone and microwave. i have tried different channels on the router, changing from b g or n only, same problem. even tried auto select channel on router. i can be within 10 foot from the router and still lose connection. i am thinking changing network card to an intel, read some good things about them. any advice would be great, thanks.

Have you tried deleting the network from your laptop and reconnecting to it again? That usually solves the issues for me most of the time.
