Hi guys.
Would this bottleneck? I think so..
So how bad would the bottleneck be? beacuse after i buy the 970 maybe i would be able to buy a better processador, so would I be able to run on games on ultra on 60 fps with the 5800k and the 970? Please. Thanks.

Why not just buy an AMD card. Mantle would remove any bottleneck you are getting cpu wise (on mantle games, which are quite a lot). The 290x is on par with the 970 and at around the same price.

I said that in my post. Future support is already guaranteed though. EA, Crytek, and other major studios have it integrated into their dev kits.

This mean you can expect many mantle games.

thx for the answers. I want a nvidia card beacuse i like physics and beacuse almost every game has support for nvidia. I would probably get an i7 (i dont know wich one yet) but that will be later. I just want to know i would be able to play Tomb rider, bf4, crysis 3, far cry 4, assasins creed unity on high or ultra at 60fps so i can play while i get the money fot the new cpu.

no need to get an i7 CPU. an i5 4690k is more then sufficient for ultra gaming.
the extra threads fromt he i7 only kick in when you are going to multitask-->stream your games
it'll also make a difference if you are into 3D modelling and video editing

Yeah but maybe i will be making a game on Unity so i dunno maybe i would get an i7, but the i5 also got my attention. So would i be able to run newly games on ultra 60+ fps?

I can run unity at 50fps frame locked on a gtx 970 & a fx6300 at 4ghz - its no joke though ,its badly optimised & runs the gpu at 99% constantly (even in cut scenes) - never seen a game work the gpu like this - in comparison advanced warfare & farcry 4 only pull about 80% gou usage max.
Unity really is an unoptimised mess IMO.

Yeah and I guess fc4 like wont even play on amd gpu's

^ farcry 4 is far better optimised to be fair - it has all its own bugs with the black screen & USB issues.
The game engine is good though - its entirely playable at high on a 280x.
I have 2 builds - a 8320 (4.2ghz ) with a 280x
& a 6300(4ghz) with a gtx 970
I know a GPU swap would make sense but the 6300 is in a matx htpc lounge set up & the 970 is in there due to its lower temps & power draw.
Stuff gets tested on both though.
Ubisoft PC ports in general are can absolute f***n mess though - wanted the crew but I'm not buying it - they can't even sort out the black screen issue on farcry 4 - I can't play it with a wireless 360 controller connected as it justvblack screens constantly.
