I bought a new Newtral Mouse about 6 months ago, and everything went great for the first 5 months, until my Acer laptop died then I bought a new Dell computer. The old computer had two USB 2.0 ports only, the new one has two 2.0, and 2 3.0. My mouse will only plug into the one 2.0 plug on the (facing the) right side, but not any of the other ports, not even the other 2.0. We also tried it in my wife's Dell, wouldn't fit any of her ports either, so I grabbed two 4 port USB hubs, and guess what, still won't plug in, I also grabbed an old USB extension cable that is wore out, and taped together because the end is cracked and won't hold a good connection, and it still won't fit.

This would not be such an issue, as it is plugged in on the side of the laptop I use it on, except for some reason it fits "sloppy" in the port. If I bump it in the least bit, I hear the "USB disconnecting" sound, and the mouse stops working, I have to un/replug it before it will work again. Again I did not have this problem with the Acer, it plugged in easily, but it held a good connection. I could see it not fitting in the 3.0 hubs even though technically it should work, this is a computer we are talking about, since when did "should" mean no other choice. But I've tried it in 11 other 2.0 ports, and it just will not plug in. It's like there is a tab on the plug that is bent or something, it will go halfway in, and that's it, no farther. I tried to "gently force", emphasis on gentle.

So does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this, it will plug into 4 ports, 3 of those snuggly, one loosely and 11 not even possible.

I did think about that, but it does still work on the Acers, and the one Dell port, I would think that if it plugged into one it should plug into all. Unless there is something wrong with the port it does plug intol
