Best 27" ips/va 1080p under $250 for gaming.

Solution
If you are looking to spend around $300 I would encourage you to think about a 1440p monitor over a 1080p one if your computer can handle it. There are korean monitors sold on ebay that are really great. Basically, they take the screens from Apple or Samsung that are graded at like an A- and put them in their own housing. They are still great screens but don't meet apple's strict standard. So basically you get a screen that has a value closer to $800-$1100 for $250-$400. It's definitely worth looking into.

Below the first link has a list of the best Korean monitors and the best vendors according to Tek Syndicate. The second link is a youtube video about korean monitors you should check out. I would highly recommend you at least...

Looks like a good monitor to me. Input lag on monitors is a mis-understanding. 1, 5, 7 ms times are not noticeable at all, and actually denotes the time it takes pixels to change color not input to the monitor.

Now that I have gone 1440p with my GTX 770 4 GB in SLI I will never go back to 1080p.

Good luck on your search! Let me know if you have any questions about this.

I want to go 1440p with a 290x in the future, but my budget will be tighter this time around so I thought id stick with a 270x in 1080p. I just got a 270x 2gb and i know that 1440p would be pushing it unless I picked up a second in crossfire. What exactly would one suggest be the bare minimum for a 1440p setup both in gpu and cpu (running a fx8350 atm).

Thank you, I glanced at the korean models and kind of brushed them off but your post made me really look at them. I'm pretty sure I'm going to squeeze in the QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution II with a second 270x and get the setup I was originally planning but for FAR cheaper.

Happy to help. I don't think you'll regret it. If you are going to spend a large amount on the monitor it might as well be 1440p now instead of a 1080p and then buying a 1440p in the future.
