Hi, i have a Lenovo G700 Laptop with 4GM RAM. I started to play some games, which require better parameters and my 4GB RAM is already not enough, so i would like to change it for two 4GB cards or one 8GB card. I was reading a lot of posts about this problem, but there was always dual channel motherboard. Since my motherboard is single channel, im not sure which option is better.
My actual RAM is working on 800MHz frequency.
So my question are... Should i buy 2x4GB RAM or 1x8GB RAM for single channel motherboard?
Will be RAM, which is working on 1600MHz frequency, doing well, or do I have to buy 800MHz agin?
Here is what CPU-Z says about my memory, but im not sure it that Single Channel means my card or my motherboard

Do i have to buy RAM from the same manufacturer, or it doesn´t matter?
