So I recently downloaded AC: Unity to see if I could run it despite the "official" minimum requirements (that are a total load of nonsense) which I totally do not even meet and to my surprise I was able to run the game, albeit I had to lower all the settings and now, even though I can run it, it stutters and tends to freeze like a motherfucker often during intense moments/situations and I've read before that playing a game while not meeting minimum RAM can cause stuttering and freezing during gameplay and so I've decided to buy 2x4 RAM sticks. Currently I have 4gb of RAM and the game requires at least 6, 8 is recommended.
So rambling aside, my question is: Will me buying 8gb of RAM improve the games performance and prevent the game from stuttering and freezing as much? I am not concerned about FPS or graphics of the game, just the stutter and occasional freeze that ruins the game so I could try and enjoy Unity at least for once.
