Hey guys, I just recently reinstalled my OS and now get frame drops in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. I get a constant 60fps and it will randomly drop sometimes down to around the 20's it is really irritating and affects gameplay drastically. They only occur in those two games as I've played Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 with no such problem. I have disabled power savings and done everything I could with no luck whatsoever. All drivers are up to date and I haven't had this problem until the fresh OS install. If anyone could help that'd be great. :)
BTW specs are:
AMD FX 6300
HIS 6790
Generic "980"w psu
Asrock 990fx Extreme 9
all stock no overclocks and no nothing overheats.

Solution
Had the same problem on my rig a few weeks ago. When I first got BF3 and BF4 I was able to run it fine on medium or high without lag spikes, but after a BF patch/GPU driver update, I started getting lag spikes, on all settings. I tried everything to fix it. But, I looked on a EA forum, and someone posted there to turn in-game origin off. And, problem instantly fixed!

Solution: Turn off in-game Origin in the Origin program.
