hi, i want to build my first gaming computer, Can you guys tell me on what quality I can play and how many fps this should give on Far Cry 4 or the upcoming game, GTA V?

The components that I want to use:
CPU: Intel i5 4690k (3,5ghz)
Mobo: Asus z97-A
GPU: Asus STRIX gtx970 4gb
RAM: Corsair Pro vengeance 8gb (2x4)
PSU: Corsair RM650
1tb HDD seagate

Thanks!

Solution
It is hard to predict especially with a not so optimized game such as Far Cry 4.
But your config is near the sweet spot of performance/price with almost optimal performance at 1080p, 60Hz.

I got something similar (i7-3770 + MSI GTX970), with nvidia settings (above ultra) i got 60fps with some drops to 45-50 in Far Cry 4.

Thanks for your answer :) ,
On what monitor are you gaming?
Does it matter how much hz you monitor have? 60hz or 144hz?

Your statement is only true when vertical sync is enabled

That is true but to me screen tearing is a deal breaker hence my misuse of language.
