So, I was a console gamer for about 10 years, but with this new consoles wich i really dont liked at all, i decided to switch to pc, but my problem the last 3 months has been choosing the right parts, there is to much fanboy´s out there, and it was so hard to make up my mind, but know i think i have it clear, so, this are my specs:

Case: Aerocool Strike-x Extreme White Edition
GPU: EVGA SUPER CLOCKED GTX 970 ACx 2.0
Cpu: Intel i5 4440 3.10 GHZ 6MB L3 CACHE
RAM: Kingston Hyper x fury White DDR3 1600 mhz, 4 gb, non-Ecc
Psu:Corsair cx 750 80-plus bronze 24-pin atx, 750 watts
HDD: Western digital caviar green 3.5 1 tb sata III 6 gbit/s 7200 rpm
SSD: Kingston hyperx 3k ssd sata III 2.5 120 gb
Mother board: Gigabyte B85M D3H

Well, i know that the gtx 970 and the intel i5 4440 work fine together, but i want to know how about the other parts, i dont know much about pc gaming so, i just decided my parts for what i´ve learn in the internet, what can you tell me about my specs, will they run well together?
Any help will be much appreciate it.

what OS are you getting? all looks good although imo 4gb of memory is a little low, maybe look into a 8gb kit (2X4gb sticks) you also may find you fill up a 1tb hard drive very quickly if you buy a few games and just a reminder to change you default download folders off of the ssd once you have an OS installed as it will fill your ssd very quickly and that will mess with performance

You absolutely need 8GB RAM. Kingston is weaker pick than Corsair and G. Skill: pick one of these 2, quality is the same, choose by how they look to you. I have Corsair Vengeance Pro, it takes little space inside the case by the way.

Again, Kingston SSD are better to be avoided.
This one is tremendous value for money (and you get 240GB) /*-: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148694&cm_re=crucial_ssd-_-20-148-694-_-Product

the rest is very good

I prefer 7 and think that 8 is terrible, and still 4gb isn't going to cut it for most games these days

Its not "bad". But Crucial SSDs and Corsair/G. Skill RAM are better.

Yours should be good. I can run games with similar spec as yours with ultra/highest.
My specs.
Case: NZXT H440
MB: Asrock z97 extreme4
RAM: 4GB kingston HyperX black
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 660
CPU: Intel i5 4590s @ 3.0GHz stock
SSD: 120GB Samsung EVO
HDD: 1TB Western Digital
PSU: Corsair CX600M 600watt

Yours is better than mine so I don't see what people here are complaining bout.
