Question about CrossFireing an MSI R9 270X

So I have an MSI R9 270X 2G version. Would I be able to CrossFire with the same card, but instead of another 2G version, get a 4G?

If I get a second 2G version, I'd have 4G of VRAM, but if I got the 4G would that mean I would have 6G?

When Crossfiring/SLIing, your VRAM isn't doubled nor is it added so you would be stuck with 2GB. Same goes for clock speed, the Crossfire config will run at the lowest clock speed of the 2 cards.

to "double" your frame rate. each card renders half the frames resulting in better FPS.

If you are going to Crossfiring, no point in getting the 4GB version since you will be limited to 2GB. 2GB is also cheaper.
