Help Me Please. I get a black screen with a white underscore blinking

I Recently finished building my Computer and i booted it up the first time. It said to plug in a usb media device so i plugged in my usb with windows 7 on it. Now i just keeping getting a black screen with a blinking underscore in the top left when it boots or whatever. Can anyone help?

Asrock 970 extreme3 2.0f
fx 4130
8gb G.skillz
thermaltake psu
1tb segate
gts 250 gpu
300r case
cooler master 212 evo

If you just installed it there probably wasn't a file that was correctly ripped when you extracted the ISO from the dvd. So you probably have an incomplete install. Just unplug anything that isn't the keyboard,mouse,or monitor and then try to reboot. If you still have problems rip the iso again and try to install.If you downloaded a version of windows 7 no one will be able to help you. You could also try running CHKDSK http://superuser.com/questions/193899/how-to-run-chkdsk-if-i-cant-boot-to-windows

I used a usb stick and i didnt install windows at all
