Is My 600 Watt Big Enough for a FX 8150 and a r9 280x?

Im wanting to upgrade my gpu to a r9 280x, and wanted to know if my power supply is enough. I know I couldve gone with nvidia, but amds prices are dropping. I usually wouldve always gone with nvidia, but how can I refuse of such deals. Unless the gtx 770 price drops to 280x price, I dont think im getting nvidia, especially since the r9 280 is just barely better than the 760 by like 10fps.

Time and time again, this has been proven as the best PSU calculator.

But even I would add some extra wattage to what it gives you.

the calculator, i put in all the parts including new parts im getting, and it said max at 100% load is 509.

You're good. It's almost impossible to actually get your PSU to output 100%, so if it says 509 watts at 100%, you're good.

Do you know if your PSU is bronze, gold or platinum rated?

By about 100 watts. It would also outperform it in every way. Just Google 280x vs 970, or look at this page.
