Hello everyone,
I already have a new gaming pc with i5 4690k, 8gb ram and a used gigabyte gtx 780 gpu which i found for a nice price ($210) and that cut the cost of pc much.
Now I want to build a second gaming pc for my brother and he would mostly use it for university and would like to play games as well but not really needed to be everything on high/ultra. So I searched for some part and found these sold used in UAE as ordering online would cost me shipping even new.
USED AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz with M5A78L-M/USB3 Board ($130)
USED ASUS Radeon R9 280X DirectCU II TOP ($150)
If i but these then I would only get hdd, 8gb ram, 750 w psu, cooler and case which would add additional $300. so total would be around $580 and would try to cut on price if possible. I did check some reviews that 8320 does run hot and I could overclock it to 4.0 GHz to have same performance as 8350 which I do not think necessary to buy.
So would this pc be decent for gaming and is the price good? If it won't live for 4+ years then I would go for an i5 4690k like my first pc and would check again for other parts. Thank you very much
