I have a i3-3220 and a amd hd 7770 gpu with 8 gb ram. I should be fine with a 300 watt psu right?

Solution
Yep, replace the PSU. HCL... never heard of them. They didn't bother to label the amps and rails specs on the side of the PSU, a big sign that it's a cheap unit. The PSU is the core of your system, if it overloads/fails not only can it take out the entire system with it, it can also start a fire. I would definitely get a new PSU.

I could suggest one if you gave me a budget for the upgrade.

Let me get a screwdriver and get it open. Meanwhile I was thinking of getting a corsair 450W. But if my current psu turns out to be good i think i'll stick. it may take an hour. Plz follow. Thanks
