Hello,
So, I recently got an SSD for my PC and installed Windows 7 on it. The copy of Windows 7 was from an old disk that I had used to install Windows 7 on my HDD when I first built the computer in 2012. It installed correctly, it seemed, but now, it doesn't connect to the ethernet and windows says the problem is that I don't have any network drivers installed. I know this probably isn't a hardware issue, since Windows on the HDD still works like a charm, and connects just fine to the internet. In trying some solutions from the internet (what very little I could find), I tried using Intel's driver installer, which, funnily enough, wanted to connect to the internet and, big surprise, failed. I also went to Realtek's site and got an ethernet driver installer thing, and it said it installed just fine, but the problem is still there and still the same. I'm assuming I just need to get network drivers, but I don't know where to find them. If it's not drivers, then I really am lost over here.
Edit: My (Important) Specs
ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Internal Hard Drive
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB Solid State Drive
Any help would be very much appreciated.
