Hello,
I ran into a problem which required my Acer motherboard to be replaced with a standard one.
I noticed that the people at Acer are running the front USB 2.0 ports off of a modified 19/20 cable meant for USB 3.0.
They plugged it into a 19/20 pin header on their motherboard.
I was wondering if I could get away with ordering a cable meant to run USB 3 ports on a USB 2 header, plug Acer's USB 2 19/20 header into that, and then plug the other end of the adapter into the 9 pin USB 2 header.

That's the cable that I'm looking at.
Thanks!
