So this is my first pc build. I'm pretty new to the world of pc gaming, so I'm open to any suggestions you guys might have. I'm on a pretty tight budget, so I can't really spend much more money, maybe a maximum of $20 extra. I want this build to run games like Shadows of Mordor and CS:GO pretty well. Is this a good build for the price, or can I do better?

You have already decided to go AMD route for budget reasons, so I won't touch that mobo / CPU combo you opted for.

Graphics card is quite solid, should do the job nicely.

RAM: instead of 1x8 GB, get 2x4GB for dual channel. Preferably dual channel certified kit of 2 sticks. Slightly better performance than 1x8 for the same price.

Storage: this is where I would change things a lot. Instead of getting only a mechanical drive, far better solution would be an SSD for your system drive (like Samsung EVO, 120 GB at least) and an additional Wester Digital Blue drive (no need for black when you have SSD). This would set you back more than $20 you mentioned; $85 for an SSD, but the Blue is also cheaper than Black by $20, so in total this would...

Like you can see in my signature, i think intel is much better. But that being said that build could run csgo well but not shadow of mordor well at all honestly. If you want something to run shadow of mordor your gonna have to spend a decent bit more on cpu, gpu and the psu, never go cheap on the psu. (sorry to say)

The difference in overall performance would be amazing. Much more than you can imagine. Worth it by all means.

Power supply: corsair is a good brand, but their CX series is of quite average quality; PSU is one component you never want to cheap on, not only it is responsible for the safety and longevity of your other components, but you can also use it in your next build if you pick it right. Get XFX Core 550W, or if you are really tight on a budget, XFX Core 450W. They are both better than the CX and can handle faster graphics cards as well.
