Really? Every story I heard related to MSI after sale support was telling how great they were.
I heard crappy RMA epxerience with Asus, I guess it will depend on which specific person handles your file.

The one he recommended is a great one but you will overpay for features you don't need such as SLI or CrossFire capacity.
Then it is all down to what you favor: colors, features you need or not or budget.
If price is alright and you are willing to spend a bit more the MSI you selected is a good mobo.

If you want to OC your CPU you should favor a Z97 chipset.
Other than that and exception for bad manufacturing quality your mobo won't have any effect on your system performance.
You should also look for the features offered by the product such #ports, RAM speeds, form factor, ...
This one is a great and reliable cheaper one: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97anniversary

If you get msi they have bad support and normally try to low ball you during an rma process with claims like we don't have the parts in stock to fix or replace your part will you accept $50 instead? With msi you better hope it works until your next upgrade cycle. Also black on black or black on silver will tie into any color theam, i would just go with the one I linked.
