And will i be able to play day z while recording on HIGH settings? , cpu= intel core i5 4460 3.2 Ghz

With anything above the most basic i5, gaming will be optimal.

This H97 mobo should support OC but not as optimally as an Z97 chipset mobo.
Do you want to OC anyway? If you do you need a k CPU (e.g. i5-4460k not the regular i5-4460 which clock is locked).

What do you intend to do with your PC? Gaming only? i5 it is.
Heavily multi-threaded applications (video editing), you will benefit from getting an i7.
