I used my 840 EVO without Samsung Magician for ~3 months. After I used it my computer now takes much longer to POST.

I have had my 840 EVO for 3 months without using Samsung Magician because I heard 4.4 can cause problems. Yesterday it notified me that they released 4.5 so I gave it a try. I used the OS Optimization and also set it to "Maximum Capacity" mode. After I did these it said that it needed a restart. I restarted the computer and the first thing I noticed was that my motherboard was on a black screen that said "9C" for about 20 seconds before continuing on. Normally that screen lasts about half a second. The rest of the process went smoothly but the 20 seconds longer that it now takes to POST is annoying, especially knowing that I caused it. Also note that AHCI is enabled.

My specs are as follows:
Motherboard: MSi Z87-G45
CPU: i5 4670k
GPU: MSi GTX 760 4GB (2-Way SLI)
RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Ripjaws X
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
