how do i take the windows program off of my laptop and install it on my desktop

I have windows vista on my desk top but it wont run my programs i like to take the windows program thts on my laptop and install it on my desktop how can i do this with no cd or internet

You must purchase a new copy of Windows.

As previously mentioned, you can't do as proposed. The version of Windows used on your laptop is tied to the laptop and can't be transferred. You will need to buy a new license for the desktop.

I'm not sure that he is wanting to transfer the OS just his programs. But even with that you would need to reinstall on the other machine, there are some programs that you could grab the install location and drop it over to another machine and sometimes it will work. But without any media like a CD, internet, flash drive, it's not going to do you a lot of good.
