Hi, I have a PC with an ASUS z97-A motherboard, which came with UEFI BIOS and Windows 7 installed.
A few months ago I installed Ubuntu 14 LTS and it all went fine until now that I suddenly need to change an option in the BIOS just to realise it's gone.
When the computer starts up I can press CTRL-S and it enters a VERY limited one with only 4 options.
Is it possible to reinstall UEFI or at least a more sophisticated BIOS?
(I need to enable VT-x so I can run Oracle VM)
