AsRock z97 Extreme3 would be the best bang for the buck IMO.
It has SLI and Crossfire possibility, latest intel chipset, 8 power phase design for stable overclocking and up to 3100mhz ram compatibility.

Great performing motherboard for the price, but if you dont plan to overclock or do sli, a asrock h97 pro is around $80 bucks:
