I have 2 routers in my house, one that is connected to the internet and is what my ISP is sends information to (lets call this "ONE") this router is a BT home hub 5. The other router (lets call this "TWO") is a sky router that is connected to ONE via an Ethernet cable. I set this network up a while ago and everything was running fine, I changed all the settings on TWO to make it work as a pass through for the internet and just use it as another WiFi point.

But today we had to change our wifi password, changing ONE's password was easy, i just went to 192.168.1.254 and changed the password as usual, but i cant access the admin page for TWO, ive tried:
192.168.1.1
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.74 <-- this is what ONE tells me the IP is for TWO

I'm left with no way to change TWO's password and really need to sort it out. the computer im doing all this on is connected to TWO via a Ethernet wire. ive also tried unplugging TWO from ONE and getting onto the page via ipconfig to no avail. PLEASE HELP, thanks for reading and thanks for the help!

Solution

Great minds, think alike.

im not to good with networking so sorry if i give stupid answers, i beleave its using DHCP and i think its using the same segment because when i look at network map it doesn't show TWO but shows my computers IP

I would temporarily set the PC to a fixed IP address on the same segment as TWO (if TWO is at 192.168.1.74 then set PC at 192.168.1.75 for example). Then, try to access the user interface at 192.168.1.74 with your browser.

If you successfully connect, make your desired changes and then be sure to adjust your PC network settings back to the way they were.

Changing to a static IP didn't achieve anything, whenIi type the IP into the browser it loads for quite a while before rejecting the page, but if I put a completely random IP in, it rejects it straight away so something must be happening and it frustrates me! :D

EDIT, this is all im going off:
