I have bought a computer to delve in to pc gaming for the first time

I want to run euro truck simulator, poss dayz although not sure if my cpu would handle it, and I know next to nothing with regards to pc games

So I have a radeon 5770 HD in now is there a cheap card that would give me a noticable difference?

The cpu is an i7 860 has 6gb ram

Showing as 8 cores in the settings menu, would this be capable of running higher demand games?

Sorry for all the questions but genuinely lost in all of this

The best way to answer your question is to try the games yourself and see how you do.

Your cpu is still capable; most games depend on a good graphics card.
Likely, you will want a better graphics card.
How good that can be is determined by the psu you have. What is it?

To get a significant boost in graphics, you are looking at a card in the $150 to $200 budget category.
Anything less and you may be disappointed if you don't see big results.

Budget poss £150 max, the thing with some of the games like dayz is there's no demo to try without forking out £25 to find out it won't run, I played the demo of euro truck simulator 2 and it played OK on medium settings but would like to be able to run it high

And this may sound quite stupid but how would I find out what my power supply is?
