BIOS Update before Using Vishera chip

So, I have built a new computer and I bent the pins on the CPU. I bent them back but there is still an issue of no video output. Is my CPU fried or do I just need my BIOS flashed. BTW the pins are near perfectly lined up. Im using AMD FX 6300 with an MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard. Thanks

If you could even manage to insert the CPU with bent pins, they might have been touching each other and shorted out when power was applied.

Why would you hope the pins were not bent while inside the mobo? Thanks
