Hello community,

I just got my new power supply (EVGA Supernova 850 G2) and swapped out my old one and hooked everything up and when I attempt to turn my computer on it it completely unresponsive, usually there are multiple leds in the motherboard and system fan but nothing comes on at all,

Motherboard: Z97 Gaming 5
Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850 G2
CPU: Intel i5-4690k 3.5 GHZ

not sure of the hard drive

Solution
1) Do the paper clip test on the EVGA, https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=paper+clip+test&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001
2) If the psu works, then reconnect all the wires, I think either PSU does not work or you mix up the wires connection, because the PC works before, you only change the PSU. And the last one that is you maybe broken the MB when you connect the 24pin power cable, and something like that.
3) Also try use the old PSU to see the PC works or not.
