So, about a few weeks ago, I noticed my HDD starting to fail which is weird since I've only had it for 188 days of running the hdd. I just bought a 1TB Samsung SSD Evo and cannot for the life of me format it to MBR without putting it in a completely different computer, but once I do that, I can't even install an OS as after the first reboot, I just get a blue screen error (0x0000006B, PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED) and I cannot fix it, Ive also tried replacing my Sata cable which seemed to be bent weird. I have installed an OS completely on the SSD one time, but then deleted it thinning I was going to do something different. I can barely even start the OS I have on my main drive anymore. Please help me ASAP.

First thing - what is your SATA mode set to in your BIOS? (It should be set to AHCI for best performance)

The best way to install the SSD is when it is completely blank (no partitions), boot from the Windows DVD or flash drive and install the OS. If you have a new computer that had Windows 8/8.1 pre-installed, you need to disable Secure Boot, Disable Fast Boot and CSM must be enabled.

You should then be able to boot from the DVD/flash drive and install Windows. After installation, you need to re-enable Secure boot and Fast boot, and disable CSM.
