Hello!
I bought myself a tablet with Windows 8. everything was going well, i charged the tablet i played with it for a couple hours. I left the battery on 44% . Then i went to sleep and waking up couple of minutes a go i was unpleasantly surprised the battery was 19% i went to the event viewer and so that the tablet wasn't sleeping there where lots of power kernel event 37 and a lot of log on and special log on events.
In the power saver plan the power button is set to sleep.
The tablet is Allview Wi7 There a no updates installed. just google chrome, opera, adobe reader, cpu z and core temp installed.

P.S. I apologize if i posted the thread in the wrong forum

Solution
Event viewer looks fine . Does your tablet support Connected Standby ? Apparently it's called InstantGo now.

elevated command prompt ---> powercfg -energy
check results
