I currently have a custom case with plenty of room inside
Intel 4690k
EVGA GTX 560 ti
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H mobo
8 gb of ram (not sure what kind take a look at my CPUID)
750 w PSU

I have a 300$ gift card to new egg. I'd love to get ideas from those with more knowledge of prices and what components are best. I'm a gamer and currently have stock hestsink and I have my 4690k overclocked to about 4.0ghz under load the stock hestsink obviously doesn't do anything. In a perfect world Id like to get a decent new graphics card and CPU cooler. I prefer NVIDIA but I realize that may have to look at amd. Only If I would have money left over Id like to get another internal HDD because I only have a 300 gb drive. But I'm not really worried about that. So what would you do as a gamer that would like to OC more and deal with the heat and also need a graphics card upgrade. Or do I need a ram upgrade? You tell me thanks for any input!

Solution
i would just get GTX 970

with such a card , you wont need to overclock your CPU to get better 3D performance . Thus no need of new cooler

Please get an aftermarket cooler, like a 212 evo at least, that free heatsink is not made for that kind of stress. Your best choice would be to upgrade your gpu.

Would a 760 2 or 4 gig do me any good cause the evga 770 I saw were out of stock. I'm a fan of EVGA not sure why.., and with that card would I be able to cut the over clock and let the card do the work like rockie said above?
