i would like to know if its worth take ivy bridge in this days i dont like haswell or devil i see that z77 motherboards are classic thats why i choose it thats worth build pc with old parts?

I just built an IB setup that's immaculate. These systems are still relevant today as there have not been that great of gains with each new architecture. But by the same token, I see what the prices for a lot of the Z77 and SB/IB stuff is and I would rather have purchased current generation for the money.

Only reason I went with IB is because I had a donor CPU

Ivy Bridge is still GREAT and better than any AMD, but I can see absolutely NO reason whatsoever to build a "new" build from scratch using IB over Haswell. There is literally no advantage. The prices are almost identical and in fact, the Haswell parts are actually a little cheaper.
