I want to play Day-Z and G-mod at great graphics and also want to record in the background using an elgato and not wanting that to lag my game. I want to stay under $800 Canadian, If this is not a good setup please make me one for the price and stuff I want it to do.

Ok thanks but is what would Day-Z run at and is 8GB of RAM enough I want to do some Photoshop work on pictures and video editing, and is the extra $50 worth it? And also anything else to change? One last thing is an 8 core necessary or is it an overkill that will be useless.

Yea 8 gb ram is enough for gaming , Photoshop and light video editing and 8 cores is not overkill the extra cores will come in handy while editing and in few games.

With your configuration you will get somewhere around 35-40 FPS average at ultra settings in Day-z.

No previous one was better you have downgraded the CPU.

Go with the previous build with the adjustments i have given.

Sorry but is 35-40 fps good and is there any other change you would suggest that could bump up the price to $900 or is there not really any point to do that. Also is the I series the way to go or is AMD just as good or even better?

Yes 35-40 FPS is good for smooth gameplay anything above 25 FPS is good for smoth gameplay .

This is urgent please answer as soon as you can I can get a graphics card USED for $200 would this perform as good as the other graphics card the problem its only 2 GB. Also I can get 8GB RAM and 750W PSU. RAM = Samsung 4gb 1Rx8 PC3, PSU = evga supernova nex 750b could get both of those for $75

R9 290 is far better card than GTX 770 in performance with double VRAM its a tier above gtx 770 and a bit faster than gtx 780 which would be R9 290 actual competitor.
I have not forgotten about the case you have not added the case in your build.
If you want room for case then get fx 6300 instead fx 8320 but i will recommend not to downgrade the GPU and PSU if you want 750 watt PSU then go for EVGA B2 or G2 dont go for B1 or G1 PSU.

I changed my mind could you build me a PC for $1000 and would it be really worth it to jump to that? Also I will be doing mostly gaming but ill be doing some basic Photoshop work and video editing cause I want to record my gaming footage and edit it, would AMD be fine for that and please tell me what FPS Day-Z would run at with the $1000 build.

About the best performance you can get is a i5 and a gtx 970. If you want to save a buck you can get a r9 290, it is pretty damn good but you can also overclock it for some extra performance.

If you want to sli-xfire, overclock and have fast ram then you need a z97 if you just want to play on a 1080p monitor then a h97 will be fine with 1 gpu and some low latency 1600mhz ram.

A i5 can edit and record well if your not trying to get to serious with it.

I5 is better for a gaming PC but for multitasking and editing the fx 8320 is good but that doesnt means you cannot do editing and PS with i5 and good gaming with FX.
Intel build will cost you more than AMD.
