Just installed this new EVGA Geforce gtx 760 today. I first tested it out with Runescape's html 5 to see how it would react with an unoptimized game. Didn't do so well (not the point.) Next I wanted to see how it ran Titanfall. It loaded and right before the game started it shut down the whole pc.
This graphics card is brand new and was unopened, so I'm not worried about that.
I just installed all the new drivers, not too worried about that either.
What I am worried about is it's probably the PSU i got. I knew that this graphics card required at least 600 watt system. So i found a cheaper one on ebay thinking it would get the job done. The reviews were fine. Looking back now i don't think they were using it with card like mine.
The PSU i'm using is a Cool Power Performance series atx 600w. However I noticed that on the box it said black finish. This one is a grey finish. It has the sticker on the side however which says its a 600w Cool power performance series. The pictures on-line also show it having the black sleeve over the cables, this one does not. It has the same blue fan...
Im pretty sure it's the psu, but would like to double check with someone smarter then me in this area, and perhaps some explanation.
My set up is as follows.
AMD FX 6300 6 core. 125w. -CPU
8gb G.Skill Rip jaw -Ram.

1tb 7200rpm -HDD
Asus M5A78l MX Pluss -Mobo
