After a windows update my computer restarted but my monitor,mouse, and keyboard aren't working I have tried to switch them to different ports and for my monitor I switched hdmi cables but they still don't work I would try to boot In safe mode but i can't use mouse or keyboard and I can't see anything

does the system show them mb bios post screen?? if not did the mb fall over to the onboard video?? if not power off the pc and drain power from the wall and clear the cmos see if the mb locked up. was the update a bios or windows update?? if it was a bios update inside of windows most times those fail. if you have a asus mb with usb flashback port you can reflash your bios that way. if it another brand most times putting the bios file on a usb stick in the root of the file if the bios is still able sometime it can recover. if it not a bios issue but a hardware issue. try bare boning the pc if clearing the cmos wont work.
