Computer freezes when ever I plug in anything that is connected to the power

So if for example I plug in my gaming chair or wheel which both connect to the power my computer freezes. It is completely unusable and has to be hard reset. My gaming chair which I don't have now, was an analogue connection and my wheel is a usb. Both froze my computer, whenever I plugged it in.

Also I think the computer works though if I have it plugged in before I boot up, but I don't want to risk damaging my computer by freezing it.

Any help much appreciated thanks.

What model of Corsair power supply are you using? You can open the case to have a look at its sticker.

You either have a UPS/Surge protector or you don't. I assume you don't have one from the way you sound.

Does turning on/off other devices nearby also cause it to freeze?

Your freezing issue could is probably caused by power surge in the mains line, that isn't being stopped by the power supply.

You problem should be solved by getting a better quality power supply with more voltage regulation/protection features.

An UPS or surge protector is a cheaper alternative, but may or may not stop the power surges (it's complicated, beyond my understanding)

I have a corsair 750w power supply i am not sure about ups and surge protector
