I have just completed my first own build budget computer.

AMD FX-8320 8Core OC @ 4.4 Ghz
Sapphire R9 270x twin fang 2gb GPU
1tb Westen Digital
650gb Westen Digital
8gb 1600mhz DDR3
850Watt PGU 80+ Bronze non-modular

It's not the most expensive nor most powerful but I didn't want to spend alot of money on a first build. (was scared about blowing expensive stuff up)

Anyway I have a Zalman Z11 High performance case, This is where my problems have risen.

I've looked around and different fan placement tips but still at a lose on what to do.

I have 1x120mm intake fan on front.
2x80mm side fans taking out air.

I have 120mm rear fan inputting its blowing over my cpu heat sink and the primary cpu fan taking air from the top grill due to not knowing how to fit it at the time.

I have two spare 120mm fans and I have 2 top slots and 1 bottom spare.

I will have to turn around heatsink placement to open one of the top slots.

My system temp is 28c Idle - 35c max.

My Cpu temps are 26c Idle, 39c gaming, 49c stress tested.

Should I add a 120mm for expelling system air on the top, next to the cpu fan that drawing cool air from the top grill.

Or should I take off my cpu cooler and "sidemount" it so I have 2 120mm exporting air from top, 120mm rear fan blowing over my cpu fan.

Or side mount my cpu, turn around my 120mm rear fan so I have it drawing hot air from back of the heatsink, like a push/pull system over my headsink.

Or I could leave it how it is now.

Forgot to add my PSU has a 120mm fan on bottom case placement with fan drawing air from the case.

Solution
If the PSU you use is garbage, stuff might actually blow up!

PSU Tier List

So right now you have 2x80mm exhaust, 2x120mm intake

I suggest installing the two spare 120mm as exhaust on top, and flip both 80mm to take air in.

That way there will be higher pressure inside the case, and will not suck in unfiltered dusty air from every nook and cranny.

Exhausts blowing up and out of the case will ensure the warm air rises away instead of getting sucked back in.

Temps look fine as it is.

Bah I was hoping not to have to unseat the CPU heatsink, but to fit the top fans ill need to :p

My PSU is tier 3 rated, So its something I can get a slightly later date, I just put all my spare cash into this system.
