(I apologize if this looks like a repost - I accidentally marked the previous post as 'solved' prematurely)

I have been experiencing a few problems that might be related to my graphics drivers (games occasionally crashing, problems with video playback), so I went to the AMD website and ran their autodetect utility to update drivers. After the installation and reboot, I started to receive the error message in the title upon startup. Following the instructions of a few other threads here, I did an uninstall and cleanup of all AMD drivers and reinstalled the same set of drivers, first using the uninstaller provided by AMD through the Control Panel, and after that was unsuccessful, using Display Driver Uninstaller. In the latest attempt to install the drivers, I received the following message:

Program Compatibility Assistant
Windows requires a digitally signed driver.
A recently installed program tried to install an unsigned driver. This version of Windows requires all drivers to have a valid digital signature. The driver is unavailable and the program that requires this driver might not work correctly.
Uninstall the program or device and check the publisher's support website to get a digitally signed driver.
Driver: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver
Service: amdkmdag
Publisher: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Location: C:\Windows\System...\atikmdag.sys

And another:
Driver: AMD High Definition Audio Function Driver
Service: AMD Function Driver for HD Audio Service
Location: " "\AtikdW76.sys

My relevant specs:
OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6800
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400k @ 3.10GHz

Drivers I was attempting to install: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Window...
Catalyst Software Suite - Omega (14.12)

Looking for any help in this resolving this issue, thank you!

Use DDU driver uninstaller download the application and follow the instructions and go to safemode when it tells you to after in safemode open it up and click clean and restart what this will do is stop windows from updating the gpu drivers and will delete old drivers this should work cause it did for me
