I have an ASRock z87m extreme 4 and an Intel Core i5 4690K Devils Canyon.
I had some issues wth the motherboard and cpu and i contacted customer support from the reseller and they told me it was because my BIOS didn't support the CPU when it was sold but there is an update that makes the BIOS/motherboard support my cpu.
Now i need to know how to update the BIOS from a USB stick....

If you cannot even POST, that's catch 22 - you need to POST to update BIOS, but you cannot update it because you cannot POST.

The only way you will POST is if you install a supported CPU, flash, then put your new one back in. This is likely not cost-effective in oyur case (even the cheapest CPUs will set you back $50 or so), so I suggest you return the motherboard to your retailer and make them flash the board for you. They should have warned you in the first place and not sell it with incompatible BIOS.

Yes but how can i update the BIOS when i can't even access it. That's the issue.
I only get a black screen (no video output from either the GPU or motherboard).
My CPU isn't defect, my motherboard is fine and my PSU works just fine, it isn't making any noise and all of the fans are spinning.
