So my current build is pretty shit since it was a pre-built one that I decided to make a little more powerful and ended up not being what I expected. So I'm gonna try to make a total refresh. I'm gonna start by naming the things I had in first build because I will keep some of them and then tell you what I will change it for.

CPU : AMD A8-6500 ----------> FX-6300 (I've also got a aftermarket cooler ready to be used since I know FX heat up pretty easily)

GPU : GTX 750 -----------------> R9-270X

PSU : 530 WATT 80+ BRONZE CERTIFIED ROSEWILL ( I will keep this power supply)

HDD : Probably useless, but I will add a 500 GB to the system

CASE : THERMALTAKE ATX MID TOWER CASE

MOTHERBOARD : M11BB ---> ASUS M5A78L

RAM : 6GB 1600 -----------------> 10GB 1600 ( I will add a dual channel 4 gb ram to the system)

Also in the website ( http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/FJyYwP ) it tells me that the GPU might not fit in the case, could anybody confirm that please? And tell me if the build would be able to run the game on ultra.

Okay, few issues. First, don't use 10GB of ram. Get a 2x4GB kit and use 8; it'll be faster than some odd jumble that's giving you 10.

Second, no, that rig won't be able to run battlefield 4 at 1080p on ultra and get even decent FPS. Battlefield 4 is a serious CPU hog, and is still very demanding on the graphics card.

If you're upgrading anyways, I would seriously go to an Intel i5 for what you're trying to do, and then to be able to run on ultra, save up $300 or so for the graphics card. Ultra is expensive. It's the reason that $1000 video cards exist.

Ok, then I will try to tweak the build a bit and ask your opinion again.

Ok there. I know it's not a intel core i5, but it's kind expensive. Will this do instead? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/rYL3dC

Also, since in my build it's 4+2 gb of ram, I could just remove the stcik with 2 gb and add 1 of 4, right? Or is that not good too?

The 6300 will be fine, with a decent OC, but doubtful you see that on the Asus board. Look to a 970 or even 990 mobo to really unleash a fx cpu. It'll also open up the option to upgrade the cpu to a 8320 or 8350, either now or in the future.

Some games are optimized for mid grade gpus, bf4 being one, but most are not, so while you will see very good fps in bf4 from a 270x, those fps will drop in other games. A r9 280 is considerably more powerful, but in this you are limited by your option to retain the 530w psu.

Ram. It operates in dual channel only in exponents of 2, so 2-4-8-16-32-64. As far as I know, only Intel has a way kinda around some of those limitations, and will run what sticks it can in dual channel, the rest in single channel. So with Amd, you'll get better performance and reliability with a new kit of 2x4Gb 1866 cl9, than you will mixing ram to make 10Gb, assuming that the ram even would play well and not bluescreen due to ram timing incompatibility.

The gpu will fit in the case just fine, its not that large a gpu, but you may find you'll need to remove the extra hdd drive bays (actually helps with airflow) to accommodate it.

Thank you for telling me about the ram. I didn't even know about that. Also, yeah, I'd like to keep my PSU. Could you check my reply to darksable and tell me what you think about it too, please?
