So i got this cooler with my cpu fx-9370. It isnt that bad, noise is huge though with the stock fans. So today i switched stock fans to these Noctua NF-F12 which ive heard are really good for radiators and are silent too. Yes, they are silent BUT any clue why my temps are WAYYY to big even im just surfing on net? Did i mess something or what?

Also, my radiator has some problems, screws are just circling empty when im trying to install the radiator, i got 2 pretty good screwed but its still little tilted and is having annoying vrummm sound alltime because it isnt straight. Should i try RMA or get new cooler or something? If new, what you suggest? Or should i just put my pc under desk so i might not hear it?

So, the questions are:
Why my cpu is ALOT hotter when i switched stock fans to Noctua NF-F12?
Should i get new cpu cooler because all these problems, which one?

I use the same one and one thing i had to change after install was the settings where the pump is connected to be on max, while the fans on radiator can be on silent mode or something like it, depending on your motherboard or program you are using to control them.

with stock fans and silent mode it is pretty quiet and keeps a i7 4790k at about 52C while maxed gaming. hopefully that helps somewhat

well id ask myself 2 ?'s what are the rpms an cfm on the old fans vs the new fans an what they are set at.could be a difference in rpm setting or you might've moved your heat sink when you were messing with your radiator an need to redo your thermal paste on your cpu.i"d start with rpm settings.some rubber bushings an a little bigger screws will solve your vroom lol problem

Honestly, I avoid AIO loop coolers because of a list of issues i don't want to risk dealing with... that aside.
the one I would buy would be swiftech's new offerings like the h240x: http://www.swiftech.com/H240-X.aspx

it allows you to increase the loop to include more components (rads, vid cards, etc) and seems to have slightly better components...

Did you remove the cpu block at all when changing the fans? might have air or need to redo the thermal paste, could be loose or tightened crooked.

failing that which seidon is it? a 120mm, 140mm? are the fans in teh same push/pull configuration they were with the stock fans?

Are the stock fans higher SP (Static Pressure) than the Noctuas? they're certainly spinning a lot faster (hence the noise)

Ok, thanks for all these answers. First off, i accidently did put my 2nd fan towards the other so hot air was inside radiator alltime (fuck me). I was mad because those screws didnt go into radiator. I mean they just doesent thight.

Dont know what fans those stock ones are so i cant check, but i think nf-f12 has better cfm but lower rpm. This is 120mm one. And i didnt remove cpu block when i switched fans.

Now, my cpu cooler is 5x times silent and something like 2x times cooler, havent tested on games yet though, only surfing.

But yeah, still cant tight screws on radiator. I tried tested another ones too, but i think the problem is on radiator side that they dont tighten. :(. And cooler master doesent rma three party bought specs. (Got this cooler with the cpu) Probably gonna move pc underdesk and buy good aircooler when got money. Suggests?

Air cooler - phanteks Phanteks PH-TC12DX (comes in a few color options) - solid cooling on my experience, can upgrade to a noctua nh-d14 or phanteks ph-tc14pe.

cheaper option might be to hit a DIY hardware store and look for rubber washers or something to get a tighter fit on the rad and eliminate vibration.

Good points. I tested gaming now, 5C hotter than on stock fans when running on something like 70% when i started hear it annoying. Dunno if 40-45C is bad for fx-9370 when playing?
