As stated above I am wondering what the specs of the RAM are in the MSI GT70 2PC Dominator 1467US laptop. My friend recently bought a laptop (the one listed in the title) and he is thinking of upgrading some of the components in it such as the RAM and the MSATA drives. We recently opened it up to take a look at some of the components; this voided the MSI warranty but he bought a 3 year warranty from the store it was purchased from, and upon buying it they said opening it up and replacing/upgrading components yourself does not void their warranty. So after opening it and looking at the RAM SODIMM slots we saw they were both empty, (the extra slots) as is common with gaming laptops and the other used slots are on the other side of the motherboard, which to get to we would have to remove the whole motherboard and everything in the laptop to get too. As we are not certified technicians and haven't done this before that much, we don't feel like risking it so I tried to search up the RAM specs to no avail. If someone could perhaps tell me the RAM specs such as the voltage, frequency, and the speed of the chips already in that would be very helpful to have when looking for RAM when he considers upgrading.
