Hi everybody,
I plan to build soon my first pc. I'll use an i5-4590 and, for the mobo, i'd like to buy the asrock h97 anniversary, wich is very cheap and recent. I've read that is a reliable and solid mobo. What do you think about it?
Look at the heatsinks . the Anniversary heatsinks have very simple design compared to Pro4 .
Pro4:
- Premium Alloy Choke (Reduces 70% core loss compared to iron powder choke)
- NexFET™ MOSFET
Good things cost more . i5 4590 is a very good CPU . Pro4 would be perfect .
also Asrock H97M Pro4
The only difference i noticed is that the pro4, unlike the anniversary, supports CrossFire, wich I won't use....
Also I've read very good reviews about the anniversary.

My brother has that very motherboard, teamed with an i5 and a Radeon R9 280X and it is great for gaming at high resolutions, so very reliable. I'm looking at getting the same setup for my upgrade and gf's PC to get her out of console gaming hahah
Alright guys, I know this post is old but I have a solution in case anyone is ever reading about it. If you are not going to overclock your CPU then do not waste the extra money on the Z97 Anniversary. The H97 Anniversary will be a much better deal if you have no intention to overclock.
