Does anyone still play battlefield bad compony 2?

I bought the game when it was on sale on steam. when I go to the multiplayer the server list is empty. Are there no servers or is there something wrong with my game?

i don't think so, it's pretty old. The single player was alot of fun though.

Last I played, which was over a year ago, there were 16 servers up, 7 with playable ping.
Had a friend hop on 4 months ago, there were 2 servers online, both empty.

I highly doubt there are many still running, especially playable ones.

People totally still play this game! On the PC at least. Check out this video of Frankie on youtube talking about just that. Its a fairly new video too.

Sounds like its the "Old game Nostalgia wave" hitting.
This happens every time a new game comes out, "*insert older game here* was so much better than this, I'm going to play it"

The points where I checked was after BF4 was released for quite some time, and before hardline was announced.
