A couple nights ago we had a strange power event. There was an audible pop and my monitor reset as if it lost power but the computer did not power down. I have it plugged into a nice APC branded surge protector. Also to note my TV\cable box and laptop which were both running at the time did not power down either. Other items in the house such as clocks reset. Since then my system hangs during boot at the press DEL to enter BIOS screen. Those familiar with the Formula Z the numeric LEDs display 62 at the time of the hang. I cross referenced this in the manual but it didn't give a clear indication as to why its hanging, stating, "Code 62: Installation of the PCH runtime services." Usually to get it to boot I have to power it down and turn off the power supply for a few seconds then bring it all back up. I typically have to try this a few times. I have reset the BIOS back to factory defaults. To note I do not overclock the machine. I tried unplugging all unnecessary USB devices such as my hubs, card reader and game controllers and the system boots fine. I am leaning towards it being a power supply issue since there is less of a load since the USB devices are unplugged and it would have been the first item to take a hit with a power event.

Other than this boot issue the system works beautifully no matter what I throw at it to do.

Any thoughts?
