What do you wish to achieve/do with your new PC? In my opinion, have someone at a store assemble one for you. If this is not an option, then your selection is very limited, I'm afraid.

If microcenter offers that i could possibly ask my dad that. His theory is dont be crazy noone at his work or big businesses build pcs part from part, why should you. You gotta be different from the general pop and build one yourself. So hes fairly set on getting a "professional" to build it. But do go on about someone at the store assembling it, does microcenter offer that?

Your dad's theory is pretty terrible, just saying. Been building my own for 13yrs, and wouldn't want it any other way. Businesses buy OEM's, because they are cheap, period. They come with crap components with little to no upgrade capability, and force you to buy a brand new system get a meaningful upgrade. They are mass produced junk.

the microcenter here (st david's PA) does offer options to have someone there help you pick and assemble the computers time to time. They're honestly like lego kits anymore... putting a list together to show the price markup *if any* to have cyberpower build it.

the only thing i can see as a benefit is having the warranty... to which you want to research people's experiences with the vendor that built. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/m6CHrH they charge you 40 bucks to basically install the parts and offer a warranty.
