Hello, can't believe im actually creating a thread for this since google usualy have the answers but not this time around :p

Got a laptop here, had Windows 8 on it but installed Windows 7 on it, can't get the network adapter drivers to update, ive tried several drivers but all failed (Findfile error thing).
Here is the Ethernet controller Hardware ID's+ Network Controller Hardware ID's:

Ethernet:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_089D1025&REV_10
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_089D1025
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_020000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_0200

Network:
PCI\VEN_168&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_E07F105B&REV_01
PCI\VEN_168&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_E07F105B
PCI\VEN_168&DEV_0036&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_168&DEV_0036&CC_0280

Additional info:
Windows 7 64 bit
No cd-rom
BIOS got close to no things to look at, only boot/password and general information
Its an Acer Aspire ES1 511
Everything except the network drivers seem to work.
Im an ITC student if that matters, so I should know what to do but I don't :p

Solution
Ethernet uses the Realtec 8168
The network driver is an Atheros QCA9565

WIN7 drivers are readily available, in fact the win8 drivers from acer would probably work as well; they are usually win7/8 compatible.

Acer does not support of have win 7 drivers for that system, while many drivers work for both 7&8, you seem to have found the one that doesn't.
On Acer's site, the lan driver is from Broadcom, the wireless driver is either Realtek or Atheros, you may want to go to their respective websites & see if you can find a driver their.
