Ok guys, firstly didnt know where to put this thread..

so ive been pulling my hair out recently over random BSODs occuring and not really finding an issue. all components are good from tests and i have just done a wipe and fresh install of windows 7 with all updated drivers and still getting the blue screens randomly. even got one half way through typing this.

So my system was running fine for ages. dabbled in some overclocking and found a nice sweet spot. but i reverted all clocks back to stock when this started happening. I have recently just upgraded my graphics card and didnt get any problems with that. but i have now watercooled it and seem to be getting the problems constantly. Im thinking i may be hitting my PSU max now?

specs are:

i5 4670k with h100i push pull
gigabyte z87x d3h
16gb 1600mhz corsair vengeance
zotac 780ti with h90 push pull
128 samsung 840 pro
250 samsung 840 evo
2x 1tb samsung mechanicals
2x 140mm case fans
bequiet 630w psu

cant for the life of me figure out why its now BSODing all over the place.

also, on my fresh install. i was getting high frames in games but it was really choppy and juddery. i unparked the cpus and it stopped it. but blue screens followed suit.

cheers guys.

Check the Graphics driver for the V-sync or adaptive V-sync settings. If all the settings in the driver are normal then I think you should run GPU-Z and see if the rest of the temperature reading of the graphics card are OK. Some component might be overheating. Also, run speedfan to check the remaining system temps and see if anything is getting hot

Sorry i missed out a letter there, I have -now- watercooled the GPU. I was overclocking the CPU with the h100. and the GPU was a mild overclock before watercooling. (to another factory card they do, i have the OC version i clocked to AMP version) but have reverted to stock clocks. i havent overclocked since reinstalling windows and im still receiving the blue screens. the temps are 28C GPU idle. 43C Max ingame. CPU 30C idle 55C Max ingame.

The common bluescreen errors I receieved prior to the reinstall were dxmms1.sys and nfoskrnl.sys with a few win32k in there.

OK so the bluescreens weren't recorded in minidump files strangely. But the PC has been running without a hitch all morning into the afternoon, fingers crossed it stays that way. Strange as I cant think what has happened. I have updated the BIOS aswell but it was working fine prior to that so maybe just a gremlin yesterday.

Thinking a higher wattage and more efficient PSU couldn't hurt though...

Cheers anyway guys. Will Add to this if it acts up again.!

System seems solid now.. Intel burn tests. MSI Kombuster. Memtest86 all check out.

Only problem i'm getting now, which i never before, is that there seems to be a lot of choppiness or jitteriness playing games regardless of framerate.

and running the furmark test on kombuster has some choppiness to it also, it has high frames but it just doesnt seem smooth.

Playing games like titanfall and SC blacklist its evident of the choppiness. most noticeable when moving the mouse, which is mad as the games require that. The frames stay constant but there is definitely choppiness there.

Any thoughts?
